Two great realizations of my childhood were you could get paid to draw buildings and that my father had darkroom equipment stashed away in the basement. These discoveries influenced my career choices –senior project manager with an Edmonton-based architectural firm and photographer. Success as an architectural photographer comes from seeing what the architect was trying to achieve and presenting it in the best possible way. My life-long interest in both architecture and photography puts me in a unique position in that I have been able to nurture a deep appreciation of both fields of endeavor; the fusion of the two is very rewarding.
